  • “User” refers to any person or entity that accesses or uses the Website.

In order to access certain features of the Website or purchase Digital Items, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Use of the Website

  • You agree to use the Website solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • You may not use the Website to:
    • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
    • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

4. Purchases and Payment

  • Payment Processing: Payments for Digital Items are processed through Paypal and Stripe. You agree to comply with the payment processor’s terms and conditions.
  • No Refunds: Due to the nature of digital goods, all purchases are final, and we do not offer refunds or exchanges except as required by law.

5. Licenses and Intellectual Property

  • License to Use Digital Items: Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Digital Item for personal use, as specified on the Website. The license is subject to these Terms and any usage restrictions detailed for each Digital Item.
  • Ownership of Content: All content on the Website, including but not limited to Digital Items, logos, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by STL Hardware Parts or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
  • Prohibited Actions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, bulk download, sell, or otherwise exploit the Digital Items or any other content from the Website without express permission from STL Hardware Parts.

6. Product Usage Limitations
The Digital Items and products available on the Website are intended solely for hobby, personal, and recreational use. These products are not to be used for any structural, mechanical, or industrial purposes. Users agree not to rely on or utilize any of the Digital Items for any applications requiring safety, structural integrity, or other critical purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Construction
  • Manufacturing
  • Engineering applications
  • Mechanical load-bearing structures

We make no warranty or representation regarding the suitability of the products for such purposes, and any use of the products beyond their intended recreational or hobby purposes is done at your own risk.

7. Custom Design Work
For any custom design work requested through the Website:

  • User Responsibility: The User is solely responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the custom design, including but not limited to dimensions, specifications, and intended use, are accurate and appropriate for their needs before the design is finalized and sent for manufacture. It is important that the User reviews and approves the design thoroughly before manufacture.
  • No Responsibility for Errors: STL Hardware Parts is not responsible for any issues, damages, or defects arising from errors in the design provided by the User or from user-approved designs that may not meet their intended purpose.
  • Final Approval: Once the design has been finalised the User agrees to bear responsibility for the approved design for all manufacturing purposes.

8. Privacy Policy
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found on our Website. By using the Website, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Termination and Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Website at our sole discretion, without notice, if you violate any of these Terms. Upon termination, you must immediately cease using the Website and our Design Service.

10. Disclaimers

  • No Warranty: The Website and Digital Items are provided “as is” and without any warranties, either express or implied. STL Hardware Parts does not guarantee that the Website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, STL Hardware Parts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Website or Digital Items, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless STL Hardware Parts and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Website or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Western Australia.

14. SHP Commercial Use Agreement for 3D Printed Parts (Only applicable for customers who purchase the Commercial License Membership)

By purchasing the Commercial License Membership, you (“Licensee”) agree to the following terms and conditions set forth by STL Hardware Parts (“Licensor”):

  1. Grant of License
    The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to commercially manufacture and sell physical 3D printed parts derived from the STL files provided by the Licensor.
  2. Restrictions
    The Licensee agrees not to:
  • Sell, share, or distribute the original STL files or any derivative digital versions.
  • Claim ownership or authorship of the STL files.
  • Modify or reverse-engineer the STL files for redistribution.
  1. Intellectual Property
    All STL files and related intellectual property remain the sole property of the Licensor. No ownership is transferred under this agreement.
  2. Term and Termination
    This license remains in effect until terminated by either party.
  3. Limitation of Liability
    The Licensor is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use or misuse of the STL files or 3D printed parts.
  4. Governing Law
    This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia.
